Size: The size of the postcard
Material: The type of paper (thickness, style) on which the postcard is printed.
Ink: When selecting the "Ink" specification, you will indicate what color you want and on how many sides of the postcard. Specification 4/0 indicates full color on one side, and 4/4 shows full color on both sides of the postcard.
Printers express this color information by using what looks like a fraction - for example, 4/4. The first number indicates how many colors are on the front; the second number shows the colors used on the back. This is because they use CMYK ink - Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black in the print process. All colors can be created with a mix of these four ink colors. That's why the number 4 indicates "full color."
Coating: A coating is a finishing coat applied to the postcard to create a desired effect. No Coating – No coating will leave the printed piece without any additional applied coating. UV Coating – A high gloss coating. You can apply it to one or both sides of your postcards.
